Rules

ALL KEEPNETS, LANDING NETS AND STINK BAGS MUST BE DRIED BEFORE FISHING ON THE BANK BEHIND YOU UNTIL 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF ANY MATCHES OR SESSIONS. This is to prevent the spread of KHV (Koi Herpes Virus) to our fishery. Thank you.

• No Boilies, Nuts, Beans or Peas.
• No Meat Based Pet Foods.
• No Feeding of floating Baits.
• Carp pellets only.
• Bloodworm and joker only allowed on Langdale Channel.
• Barbless hooks only MAX Size 6.
• No Braid of any kind.
• No fishing without a landing net or Disgorger.
• No carp to be kept in Keepnets except in permitted matches only.
• No more than 50 lb in each net.
• No fish to be taken away. from the fishery.
• No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 will be allowed to fish.
• Opening times 7 am until time marked on the gate.
• No night Fishing.
• All litter must be taken away.
• Sherwood Fishery Ltd will no accept responsibility for any loss or damage or theft of anglers property.
• And anyone found breaking the rules will be asked to leave.
• The decision of the Bailiff is final.
